The Original Tangle Teezer,
Revolutionary hair brush,
$17 @ Sally's
Tangle Teezer, where have you been all my life? Here’s a little look into my hair troubles; I'm descended from the type of Koreans that have really thick, kinky hair. My grandma even rocked a K-fro. The weird part is that I have the majority of my kinky hair is in the back, whereas my hair in the front is much finer. My hair tangles easily. Every time the wind blows I have to reach for my pocket brush. Long story short, brushing for me is a chore. I’ve learned it doesn't have to be that way! There is hope for your tangled hair.
The brush itself fits well into my hand. The lack
of a handle seems more like a bonus than a handicap. Its bristles are firm but
have enough give to work through hair without breaking it. Most days I choose
not to style my hair because it’s such a hassle. This brush allows me to achieve
looks I never dared to wear, for fear of a big knotty mess. Not to mention how
much time it saves me when I’m getting ready. 2 hours of daily brushing has
been reduced to just a few minutes. It’s phenomenal.

Brushing my hair from root to end seemed like a
fantasy before my time with the tangle teezer. It works well on both wet and
dry hair (I use it to comb in conditioner in the shower). It also seems to help
redistribute the natural oils in my hair making my hair much smoother. I lose
less of my hair when brushing. My hair is much more workable as well. I recommend
it to anyone with curly thick and unmanageable hair. Nuff’ said.
